Conquest 2012 - last call for event submissions [Jan. 30th, 2012|09:20 am]

(posted on behalf of orgs)

Conquest is Melbourne's Easter Games convention, running from Good Friday to Easter Monday each year.

Submissions for games are closing on Sunday the 5th of Febuary. We are still looking for tabletop roleplaying games! Have a new game or an old one you want to dig out and run again, head over and submit a blurb.

With an abundance of events happening at Conquest this year there are plenty of opportunities to find fresh players, to mix in with the veterans of Conquest. Make them grand, make them scary, or make them hilarious;
Take the opportunity to write a blurb for the game you have wanted to run.

Arcanacon XXX [Nov. 7th, 2011|11:51 am]

travisjhall

Hi all.

Arcanacon XXX is now open for player registrations. Event blurbs are up on the web site and AON is ready for your entries.

The con runs from the 26th to the 29th of January, 2012, at the familiar site at Collingwood College. Note that this gives us back our public holiday, which is on the Thursday in 2012.

Important information...

The Warhammer 40,000 event will not be taking registrations through AON this year. Tickets to that event are being sold through OzEvents. In fact, there's very few tickets left, so get in quick if you want in.

For event else, event blurbs are up on the website, and from there you can easily get to AON to sign up. We've got a lot of great events, including the return of the Australian Cthulhu Masters' Tournament and a Warmachine Australian Masters tournament, along with over 30 other events.

See you at the con!

Travis

Unicon Needs Events! [Sep. 12th, 2011|05:23 pm]

Unicon is set to run the weekend of the 8th and 9th of October, but at the moment we're running very tight as to whether we have enough events to justify running the con.

If you have been thinking of submitting an event, please do so! To submit an event, log into AON, comment here or email me the details.

We would really love more of everything, which includes (but isn't limited to) tabletop roleplaying, freeforms/multiforms, board games and miniatures/war games.

Final decision as to whether the convention is going ahead should be made Thursday. Please help if you can!

Attention fellow Aussies: R18+ Urgent Reminder [Jul. 15th, 2011|05:27 am]

misterandersen
You have until the close of business today (July 15) to make a submission regarding the revision of the Australian classification system.

While this is generally pertinant to the introduction of an Adult classification for games, it also includes such matters as the depiction of sexuality via suggesting changes to what is classified as Restricted Content.
